REGULAR EXERCISE IS GOOD FOR EVERYBODY

IT HELPS LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE, IT HELPS LOWER BLOOD GLUCOSE, IT HELPS BUILD AND MAINTAIN OUR MUSCLES AND IMPROVES OUR CIRCULATION.

IT IS A GOOD REASON TO GET TOGETHER WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND ENJOY FUN TIME TOGETHER.

THERE IS A GREAT WALKING TRACK AND EXERCISE ROOM AT THE CHIEF DENTON GEORGE MEMORIAL MULTIPLEX. WE HAVE ADDED AN EXERCISE PROGRAM USING STRETCHING EXERCISE. THIS IS LED BY RECREATION DEPT.

IF YOU HAVE EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AT HOME- USE IT- IT COUNTS AS WELL.

FILL OUT A FORM AT THE RINK- FOUND IN THE SMALL FILING CABINET IN EXERCISE ROOM. FILL IN EVERY TIME YOU EXERCISE AND FOR HOW MANY MINUTES. HAVE SOMEONE WITNESS FOR YOU.

WORKSHOP ATTENDANCE WILL BE RECORDED BY THE NURSE- ONE WORKSHOP PER MONTH.

POINTS:

30 POINTS FOR EVERY 30 MINUTES OF EXERCISE

50 POINTS FOR EVERY 30 MINUTES OF EACH WORKSHOP ATTENDED

 

THIS CHALLENGE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE OVER 19 YEARS OF AGE
